The most beautiful male names

The prophetic texts came to indicate the desirability of naming children with specific names, and leaving them with some names. As for the rest of the names for which there is no explicit text, the ruling remains on the basis of permissibility, and among the names that the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - preferred over other names is the following : [3]


The name of Abdullah and Abd al-Rahman. They are the best of the two names at all, and the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - preferred them to other names, for it has been proven that he said: (The most beloved names to God are Abd-Allah and Abd al-Rahman) . [4]

Choosing names that have the meaning of servitude to God Almighty. Such as: Abdul Aziz, Abdul Rahman, Abdul Rahim, Abdul Ilah, Abdul Malik, Abdul Wahhab, Abdul Salam, and other names added to God Almighty.

Choosing the names by which God Almighty ’s prophets and messengers, peace be upon them, were called, and the best names of the prophets and messengers at all were the name of Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - and what other names were called. Such as: Ahmed, then followed by the names of the most resolute messengers, peace be upon them. They are: Moses, Jesus, Ibrahim , and Noah , and then the names of the remaining prophets, peace be upon them. And among them: Yahya, Jacob, Joseph, Yunus, Saleh, and Houd, peace be upon them all.

The naming of the righteous names of the servants of God Almighty, on top of them the Companions, may God be pleased with them, such as: Abu Bakr , Omar, Othman , Ali, Hamza , Muawiyah, Jaafar, Yazid, Zaid, Ammar, and Talha, may God be pleased with them all.

Choosing good names that are not prohibited or disliked.



Names that are prohibited and objectionable

Several prophetic texts were mentioned which indicate that some names are forbidden. The jurists have also indicated that a group of names is forbidden because they contradict Islamic law , and among those names are the following: [5]


The prohibition of naming the names of God - may He be glorified and exalted - or His attributes unique to Him, and all that is not befitting except for Him of names, attributes, or otherwise, such as naming the Creator, the Merciful, the Holy, the Mighty, the King of Kings, the Ruler, the Sunday, the One, the prosperous, the arrogant, or the Allam The absence, and the prohibition on naming such names was mentioned on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Abu Hurairah - may God be pleased with him - narrates that the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: (On the Day of Resurrection with God, a man is called the king of properties) . [6] As for naming other than these names, it is permissible to call someone other than God-Almighty. There is nothing wrong with it, such as: the name Ali, Latif, or Badi 'and other names, but the meaning of human names that share the names of God differs from those names that are called by God, the Blessed and Almighty.

Names that are not permitted to be given to anyone other than the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace; As some of the attributes are specific to him and it is not permissible to name others with them, such as if one of them is called the master of Adam's son, or the master of people, or so on.

Names in which slavery is added to other than God Almighty; Such as: Abd al-Nabi, Abd al-Rasool, Abd al-'Uzzah, Abd al-Kaaba, Abd al-Hussein, Abd al-Dar, Abd Ali, and Abd al-Masih.

The names by which the idols that the polytheists worshiped or worshiped by God Almighty were famous; Such as: Laat and Uzza.

Names of the devils and the apostasy of jinn, such as: Iblis, Khanzab, Satan and Jerem

There are several names hates the label by the word forbidding some of those names explicitly, and for example, what came in the hadeeth narrated by Ibn ' Abd al - Barr Prophet peace be upon him, where he said: (Tzmoa the names of the prophets and loved names to Abdullah, Abdul Rahman and believe her Harith and Hammam And the ugliest thing is war and bitter) , [7] It is disliked to call it war and once, because hearts are alienated from it, and among the names by which it is disliked to be called is also the following: [3]

Names that alienate hearts because of the meanings of harshness and cruelty, or their ugly expressions, or their bad meanings, or their mockery and embarrassment to the owner of the name that affects him and makes him the object of mockery and ridicule, and it is contrary to what the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - From choosing the best names for children.

Nouns that arouse lust, or in which there is a bit of looseness in their pronunciation that indicate and indicate sedition.

Name the names of famous singers and actors for immorality, or naming them after the people of immorality .

Names that indicate sins and sins .

Name the names of the mighty, the pharaohs, and the people of oppression and the dark.

Names of reckless animals and insects; Such as: donkey, monkey, etc.
