Conference tourism: It is one of the types of tourism that is characterized by modernity; Because of its appearance at the end of the twentieth century AD, and its existence depended on the accelerating civilizational developments that affected the world, whether socially, culturally, economically or politically, and conference tourism is defined as the development affecting the tourism sector; By organizing and preparing conferences at the global level, which are distinguished by their huge size and abundant profits.
Cultural tourism: is the sighting by tourists of the features and landmarks of previous societies in the past, and cultural tourism is defined as the attraction associated with tourist sites, which enhances the attractiveness of tourists to them, and includes the art of architecture, language , music , and traditions.
Medical tourism: It is one of the new types of tourism, and it spreads within countries that have curative natural resources, such as wells and water springs that help treat many diseases.
Recreational tourism: is moving from the place of residence during a period of time; With the aim of entertainment and enjoyment and the application of many hobbies, such as fishing.
Types of tourism according to geographical location

Domestic tourism : is the movement of individuals within the borders of their countries. Where the individual moves from his home to another location within the country in which he lives, and he must stay for one night in the location to which he went, and travel should not be for the purpose of work but for recreation and entertainment.
Regional tourism: is the travel of individuals from their country to neighboring countries, such as the travel of individuals between Arab countries in the Arab Gulf region, and this tourism is often low-cost; Because of the ability to use more than one means of transportation, and the distance traveled is relatively short between countries.
International tourism: also known as foreign tourism , which is the travel of foreign individuals to a specific country, and it is considered an important type of tourism that is supported by many countries of the world. In order to increase the stock of its hard currencies, this tourism also depends on the provision of a set of distinguished and high-quality tourism services and means.
Types of tourism according to the period of residence

Seasonal tourism: is the travel of individuals in specific seasons towards specific places, such as the direction of tourists to the coastal beaches during the summer or the travel of pilgrims to Mecca for the Hajj.
Transit tourism: It includes two types, namely:
Land tourism: is transit tourism in which individuals travel by using land roads, and buses designated for tourism.
Airplane tourism: It is transit tourism that depends on air travel, without any prior planning; Because it depends on a sudden stop or breakdown of the plane; This forces tourism companies to provide alternative tourist trips for travelers; Until the malfunctions are fixed.

Mass tourism: It is tourism in which a group of tourists agree to travel collectively, and based on a program that organizes their trip and the places that they will visit, and this tourism is classified into two types:
Unorganized tourism: A group of tourists organizing their trip individually without any prior planning.
Organized tourism: It is the implementation by a group of tourists of a planned tourism program, depending on a company specialized in tourism.
